Unravel Me Review

Unravel Me

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)
Summary
Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Didn't Like
Well I have to say I had a lot of issues while reading this book, I loved Shatter Me, but Unravel Me didn't work on the whole for me. I didn't like Warner in the first book and I still don't like him in this book. I personally don't understand Juliette's fascination with him at all and I don't care if he looks like a god. This is what annoys with me ALL books, females being stunned into stupidity by a great looking a$$hole and not seeing how terrible of a person he is and ignoring all his horrible deeds. I'm sorry but this is how I feel and I found myself speed reading through A LOT of the Juliette/Warner mentioning just to get it over with.

What I Liked
The Ending
The ending redeemed some of the book for me and does make me want to pick up the final book and see what happens.
Discovery
A few new discoveries are made and revealed by many of the characters. Some really tugged at the heart strings.

Note: This is a bit short because I read the book 4+ months ago and I had problems with writing the review and by the time I came back to it, I don't remember much.

Recommendation
Worth the read for sure, I know many others that have already read this one and loved it, I just didn't. I don't think many others will have the same opinions about this book that I did, unless you have the same pet peeves that I do.

Immortal Craving Review

Immortal Craving

Summary
The last-and most lethal-of his kind . . . Wild, uncontrollable, and powerful, the lion-shifting Rakshasa were hunted down by vicious rival vampires who feared their dark, magical abilities. Somehow one survived, and now, after centuries of hiding, Tasmin Singh reemerges as fierce and fearless as ever at the door of the Lilim queen, seeking answers . . . and sanctuary.

The human best friend to a vampire queen, Bay Harper traded her quiet, comfortable life for a world filled with immortal assassins, warring werewolves . . . and this hauntingly sexy shifter. Only Bay's gentle touch can subdue Tasmin's inner demons, even as he brings out a passion and sensuality she never imagined she could feel. But when a bloody struggle threatens to tear them apart, can Bay risk everything on her faith in him-or will his dark side be stronger than even their all-consuming desire?

What I Loved
Characters
Tasmin: He has a wonderful little surprise for Bay about his sexual experience that I absolutely loved. He was also just the right amount of cocky, self assured/importance and vulnerable to make him completely lovable and at times infuriating.
Bay or Bailey: I loved many things about her character. I love how stubborn she is about not falling into the glitz and glamor that a vampires life is, she has stayed on the outside and hasn't fallen pray to all the other sexy vampires. She also has an awesome dog sidekick that makes for some fun comedic relief.
Romance
Fantastic amount of romance, sex appeal, bedroom scenes and sexual tension between the two characters.
Storyline
A part of the storyline was achieved and wrapped up in this book, but things aren't completely fixed and ready to be finished. I love how all the previous couples make an appearance and are still part of the story. It is wonderful to not have to say goodbye to them completely, but at the same time get another new and exciting love story.

What I Missed
In the previous books the men are Cait Sith, cat shifting vampires and the hottest thing about them is that they purr. The sexy Tasmin, being a lion shifter of the Rakshasa doesn't purr. I was a little saddened when I found out that lions don't purr and he wouldn't be purring in the book. While there isn't any purring there is still plenty to love about him and this book.

Recommendation
The forth book in the series and well worth the continuation of reading the series as well as picking up the series for the first time. Perfect for all paranormal romance readers.

Here's why the YA2U Team should come to MY hometown in SEATTLE!

Contrary to popular belief we do have some amazing weather in Seattle, when it is nice it is PERFECT! We have some amazing sights to see that will keep the authors entered should they come to our city. They have the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, The Gum Wall (in Pike), beautiful waterfront, Ride the Duck tour, EMP (Experience Music Project), Pacific Science Center, original Starbucks and Seattle Best Coffee houses. Us Washingtonians love our books. Since we do have a lot of rain, that produces because green scenery, we get to stay indoors a lot and read lots of books. We do have lots of readers that would love to support all of the these authors.
(Pictures are all my property/photography and can be viewed more on my FB page)

Why should the YA2U Team come to your hometown?
Why not join in the fun today and share with others about this program and your hometown. The more votes your town gets, the closer you are to having your very own personal tour stop! Vote for YOUR town here!
