Bookography (40)

Bookography
Bookography is a fun new way to share the beauty of books with photography. Take a picture with the book being the focus or inspiration and share the picture(s) you have created for the week.

Inspired By:
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting
Blue Flower

I had to try my own attempt of recreating the flower on the front cover. I used blue tissue paper to create the flower, that in itself was a little difficult to do, but I managed. To take the picture I put a flash light behind the flower and in post I added fill light to brighten the front of the flower.

If you would like to participate please do. I will post my Bookography post each week on Wednesdays. I would love if you would link back to my blog and share your own link in the comments.

Wow that's a really good imitation of the cover. :) So pretty!

Really pretty! I love the light shining through. I think it definitely captures the spirit of TBF but adds something different with the more symmetrical petals. Love!

@Alba Lol

@Kat Thanks, it was fun to make the flower, that took the longest time

@Fiktshun I would have liked to make the petal exact, but I didn't want to do that much work, plus when I was cutting the flowers I had no idea how I was going to be able to put them together.

@Mindy Thanks :)
