Bookography (16)

Bookography

s a fun new way to share the beauty of books with photography. Take a picture with the book being the focus or inspiration and share the picture(s) you have created for the week.

Book
Illusions by Aprilynn Pike

Illusions

This is my 1st book picture using my new camera and it took me almost an 1 1/2 hour to get the right picture, lighting, exposure ans so forth. I did also shoot this photo is RAW, but I only used the small file because I don't have a bigger card yet to hold the larger file sizes. I did very little post editing, I changed the exposure and a few other minor things.

What do you think? How was my 1st attempt using my new camera?

Also you should check out my Flickr page, I have added some new photos that I took with my new camera.

If you would like to participate please do. I will try to post my Bookography post each week on Wednesdays. I would love if you would link back to my blog and share your own link in the comments.

I'm so glad I came across your post because I love photography, and if it envolves books even better!. I'll have to do this when I get my new camera for christmas, by the way this is really good for your first try!. I like the fact that the book is called Illusions and you have the kind of illusion in the glass :). Could you do this any day during the week?, say a thursday :).

@Claire Thanks, I am really enjoying taking pictures of books. It can be challenging to take a different picture each week but I am having fun with it. It really makes me think outside of the box.

That would be awesome if you were to take some pictures as well. I just choose Wednesday because it works best for me, but you can do it what ever day you would like.

@Kristina Thanks I'm very happy with it. My pictures are getting better week by week. I might just have to redue some of my prvious photos and improve on that idea.
