Bookography (17)

Bookography

s a fun new way to share the beauty of books with photography. Take a picture with the book being the focus or inspiration and share the picture(s) you have created for the week.

Book
The Complete Works of The Brothers Grimm
Self Portrait

This is actually an assignment that I had to do for class, we had to take a self portrait. This was actually really hard to do, to get the focus on me, set the timer and have me look semi decent within the photo. It was completely a blind shot when I was attempting to take this photo.

That is my reading chair and it is very comfortable. The other books in the coffee table are 5 Charles Dickens Christmas Stories and a Greek Mythology Book.

What do you think of my reading self portrait? Any suggestions to make the photo more visually appealing?
I ended up taking a few others using the mirror and showing my camera that I kinda like better.

If you would like to participate please do. I will try to post my Bookography post each week on Wednesdays. I would love if you would link back to my blog and share your own link in the comments.

I have to agree with BookLuvr. It kind of looks like the start of a commercial. At any moment you might look up, set the book down, and try to sell me something.
